LGCT OF ROME 2023

The Longines Global Champions Tour of Rome 2023, held amidst the historic grandeur of Circus Maximus from September 15th to 17th, showcased outstanding equestrian talent across various categories.

On the opening day, in the CSI2* Two Phase Special 1.15m, presented by PremiuMares, Marie Eder Ferrero exhibited exceptional skills riding Jina Van't Ahof to clinch victory. Beatrice Bacchetta continued the excitement in the CSI2* Two Phase Special 1.25m, presented by PremiuMares, riding Erotika to triumph. Giovanni Lucchetti and Taisa Sarda topped the CSI2* Against the Clock, No Jump Off 1.40m, presented by PremiuMares.

The following day saw Filippo Martini di Cigala and Adamantea dell'Esertico Italia excel in the CSI2* Against the Clock, No Jump Off 1.30m, presented by PremiuMares. Marie Eder Ferrero and Jina proved unbeatable again in the 1.15m category, securing another victory for Just World International. Felipe Coutinho Mendonca Nagata impressed by winning the CSI2* Against the Clock, No Jump Off 1.40m, aboard Monseigneur.

As the competition reached its grand finale on September 17th, Marie Eder Ferrero and Jina van't Ahof continued their dominance, triumphing in the CSI2* Against-the-clock With Jump Off 1.15m, presented by PremiuMares. Felipe Coutinho Mendonca Nagata and Monseigneur continued their winning streak in the 1.30m category. The pinnacle of the event, the CSI2* Grand Prix, Against-the-clock With Jump Off 1.45m, presented by PremiuMares, was claimed by Maria Costa riding Valentino V Z.

Moreover, the prestigious Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Rome 1.60m was seized by Henrik von Eckermann and the remarkable King Edward, culminating in a weekend of exceptional equestrian achievement.
